Challenge
The main challenge was delivering a highly interactive, 3D-driven web experience that captures Mirinda's vibrant energy without compromising browser performance.
Developing a 3D product showcase for a beverage brand requires rendering detailed textures, dynamic lighting, and fluid animations directly in the browser. The core obstacle was optimizing complex 3D assets to ensure a smooth, 60fps experience across both desktop and mobile devices. We had to balance high-fidelity visual aesthetics with strict technical constraints to keep loading times minimal and user engagement high.
Solution
To overcome these performance hurdles, we heavily optimized the 3D models by reducing polygon counts, compressing textures, and using baked lighting. By leveraging modern WebGL techniques and efficient 3D web tools, we ensured the assets loaded instantly and rendered smoothly at 60fps across all devices without losing their realistic, vibrant look.
On the user experience side, we paired the 3D centerpiece with scroll-driven animations and a bold, brand-aligned interface. This approach created a highly engaging browsing experience where users can interact directly with the Mirinda product, transforming a standard landing page into a dynamic and memorable digital campaign
